1. Who is running this competition?
    This competition is a joint effort between the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership, Magenta Publishing for the Arts and prizing supplier, The Globe and Mail. Magenta Publishing for the Arts is responsible for liaising with professional photographers entering the competition and managing this website.

  3. What sort of images are you looking for?
    The focus of the contest is to develop and recognize existing and new photo talent in Canada. A secondary thrust of the competition is to showcase Ontario photographically in new and inspiring ways.

    Many parts of Ontario are very well known and photographed; other attractions and destinations are less well known. Of particular interest to us are photographs that depict a Target Consumer visiting destinations and enjoying experiences across Ontario in motivating ways.

  4. What will the winning photos be used for?
    The winning photographs will be used to promote Ontario to travelers.

    • Summer Early Bird Prize Deadline: July 11, 2008
      Summer submission period closes September 3, 2008

    Yes, all winners will be announced to all contestants via email.
